A Tartan Tale

Hey Dolls,

I have been MIA for a couple of weeks but it's the end of the semester and professor's always decide to inundate us with work towards the end... NOTHING NEW for all of you who attend uni

As you all know every time MAC comes out with a collections I like to get one or two things from it obviously for no apparent reason.... it's a JUST BECAUSE type of situation, you know?

LOL anyways here is what I got from the collection: A TARTAN TALE

-A triumphant blush kit-- i asked the MA which palette he thought would suit my complexion better and he recommended this palette. The palette mostly contains peachy toned blushes and i'm in love, can't wait to give them a try and see if they really suit me.

In addition to the blush palette i also got the eye palette below "6 beauties play it cool eye shadows"

-this palette contains grey and purple shadows.  I believe the purples in it suits brown eyes perfectly because it brings out the yellow in them.

So last Friday my friend invited me to this Latin Award show in NYC.  I opted for a dramatic look but i don't know whether i accomplished my goal or not but I sure did feel super glam. My friend and I walked the red carpet (my first time)! i can not express how overwhelming the experience was with all the cameras flashing all at once but without any further rambling here is what i looked like.

Dress: Dash NYC
Shoes: Aldo's Nude pumps
Make up: professionally done by an artist
Hair: professionally done
Accessories: NONE because the dress was too sparkly

Hey dolls,

So this weekend i was supposed to go to a haunted house with a group of friends for Halloween but unfortunately  i ended up getting dressed for NOTHING because we ended up not going due to a time restraint.

I couldn't decide whether to leave my hair up, down, or in a pony tail so at random stops i played around with different styles.

i basically just used a conical wand to accentuate my natural curls
